The process of pregnancy

the process of pregnancy begins at the moment of conception (conception) before conception happens there are things that happen like :

1. Ovulation

ovulation occurs when an egg (ovum) comes out of its nest (ovaries = ovaries). In the ovary there are sacs (follicles) that contain fluids and eggs. This ovulation normally occurs every month according to the menstrual cycle and on average occurs about two weeks before the next menstrual cycle.

2. hormone increase

after the egg leaves the follicle, the follicle develops into something called the corpus luteum. the corpus luteum releases hormones that help thicken the lining of the uterus to prepare for the process of pregnancy.

3. the egg goes to the fallopian tube

after the egg is released, it moves into the fallopian tube. egg cells stay there for about 24 hours, waiting for the sperm cells to fertilize all this happens on average about two weeks after the first day of the last menstruation or this period is called the fertile period

4. fertilization (fertilization)

if one of the sperm cells enter the fallopian tube and meet the eggs that have been waiting for it to happen fertilization and the process of pregnancy starts from here. the egg will change itself so that no other sperm can enter (fertilize)

5. implantation

the fertilized egg (zygote) remains in the fallopian tube for about three to four days, but within 24 hours after fertilization, the zygote begins to divide (the split zygote is called the embryo). the embryo continues to divide when the embryo's uterus is attached and embedded in the thickened uterine wall (fertile ground), this is called implantation

within the first week, a hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) can be found in the blood. This hormone is created by cells that eventually become placenta.
